Our 2 week trip around Spain was wonderfully arranged and organized. We managed to cover a great deal of ground, from the Spanish capital Madrid, to the bustling, hip city of Barcelona, to Cordoba, Toledo and Sevilla. The trip was a rich immersion in history, culture, art, great food, and stunning sights. We visited some of the best art museums in the world, tried out some of the best Spanish cuisine, discovered legendary cultural sights including places from Almodovar’s classics, and discovered the complex interplay between Islamic and Jewish heritage in some of the oldest Cathedrals and religious edifices in the south of Spain.
The great part was, that in addition to an engaging itinerary, we had the occasional opportunity to wander freely and explore the cities on our own. Strolling around the beautiful neighborhoods of Cordoba, with their storied histories of Jewish culture, remains a particularly poignant memory for me. Either way the trip was an absolute blast and yes, I would do it all over again if I could.
