14-Day Family Vacation – Spain Travel Itinerary

This is a sample Spain Itinerary that we curated for a family who were visiting the country for the first time and had four members including teen kids. The personal preferences that they shared with us regarding the trip were having a private local-guided tour and activities to keep their kids active and involved. Although it was their first time in Spain, the parents were experienced travelers and wanted to broaden the horizons of the kids.

They were looking for an itinerary in which interesting places and activities were included so that the kids would remain engaged, excited, and eager to explore new things. However, while they wanted to explore every place they visit, they didn’t want to spend more than three days at any one destination.

To move from one place to another, they were comfortable with rental cars and trains, and asked for our recommendations for meals and dinner reservations. There were no dietary restrictions for any one of them but familiar food items occasionally were would be welcome.

Keeping their accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, interests, travel style, and eating habits in mind, I Spy Spain crafted this trip to Spain itinerary for them. We recommended a few places for staying and dining, allowing them to make the final choices before we finalized the bookings.
